GROWING, GROWING, GROWING....

We are growing at a fast rate at Jameson’s and we are SO BLESSED! With growing though, comes growing pains, and we are doing all we can to stay above water here lately. Working late, long delivery routes, and stretching ourselves thin.

We need help.

We are now hiring again for another designer. Something we have never done before. Danica, Susan, Dana, Tex, Gus, Bryan & I are excited and expectant about what a new team member will bring to the design table.

Must love flowers, 80’s music and dogs. Kidding… but actually not really in the slightest.

Part time designer - 30-40 hours a week - M-F, Tuesdays off

REQUIREMENTS:

• Determine the type of arrangement desired, the occasion, and the date, time, and location for each arrangement needed

• Order flowers from wholesalers, to ensure an adequate supply is in stock to meet customers' needs

• Customer service is super important to us. We always want our customers to leave feeling cared for.

• Consider the customer’s budget when making recommendations

• Design floral displays that evoke a particular sentiment or style that meet the customers expectations.

• Answer telephones, take orders, wrap arrangements

• Minimal computer skills required.

• Education, High-school diploma.

• Design experience complimentary but not required.

• Answer to owners and head designer.

• Organizational skills

• Willing to clean

• Willing to work late when necessary on busy days

• Minimal computer skills

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Able to keep up with physical demands such as: heavy lifting, carrying, walking and bending.

• Some weekend hours may be required. Able to work overtime during the holidays (Valentines and Mother Week) and other busy seasons.

• 2 year commitment required upon hiring. 6 month training process upon hiring.
